What we build

Fencing first — and the outdoor work around it

These are the services Mercer Precision Construction actually offers. Fencing is the core of the work; decks, walls and carpentry come from the same set of hands.
All services
  • Pressure-treated fence posts and rails set in a line on a rural Indiana property, with a completed dark-stained privacy fence running behind them.

    Fence Repair

Leaning posts, storm damage and sagging gates put back right — without replacing the whole run.

  • Pressure-treated wood deck with black metal balusters and a wide step, built onto the back of a ranch home by Mercer Precision Construction.

    Decks & Outdoor Structures

Decks, steps, railings and pergolas framed to sit level and last through Indiana winters.

  • Wood Picket Fence, Residential Back Yard

    Lafayette area

A spaced wood picket fence enclosing a suburban back yard, with a scalloped top run and a matching gate set into the line. The fence ties into an existing older fence at the far corner and keeps a consistent height across a gently sloping lawn.

  • Privacy Fence on an Open Rural Lot

Fence construction under way on an open rural property. Pressure-treated posts are set and rails run in the foreground, with a completed dark-finished privacy fence continuing along the line behind — the same run, photographed mid-build.

    Project details
  • Wood Deck with Metal Balusters

A pressure-treated deck built onto the back of a ranch home with a sunroom addition. Black metal balusters run between chamfered posts with post caps, and a wide low step and ramped landing bring the deck down to grade.

Why work with Mercer

One person, accountable for the whole job

Mercer Precision Construction is deliberately small. That is the point — there is one person to call, one person who knows what was agreed, and one person whose name is on the result.
  • You deal with the owner

The person who walks your property, writes your estimate and builds the project is Parker. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor you never met, and nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a crew.

  • Clear communication

You will know what is being built, roughly how long it takes and what it costs before anything starts. If something changes on site, you hear about it from Parker rather than finding out afterwards.

  • Attention to detail

In Parker's own words, he is meticulous about his work and aims to do it right the first time. Posts get set plumb, runs get pulled straight, and the site gets cleaned up before he leaves.

  • Free estimates, no pressure

Asking costs nothing. If the project is not a fit, or a repair makes more sense than a replacement, you will be told that straight rather than sold something bigger.
